The Lady Gardener
Description
The Lady Gardener® is a luminous David Austin English shrub rose with large, quartered rosettes in a beautiful pure apricot, softly paling toward the outer petals. The approximately 4-inch blooms are filled with loosely arranged petals and carry a lovely medium tea fragrance with subtle notes of cedarwood and vanilla. Repeat flowering through the season, it develops into a substantial, well-rounded shrub reaching about 4½ feet tall by 4 feet wide. Introduced in 2013 and named in honor of Plant Heritage, The Lady Gardener® is an elegant choice for borders, rose hedges, and cutting gardens, especially where its warm apricot coloring can bring depth to softer garden palettes.
