Refund policy

We want you to love what you grow.

At The Rose Cove, we take pride in providing healthy, quality plants and want you to feel confident in your purchase. If something doesn't look right when you receive your order, please tell us. 

Live Plants

Because plants are living and perishable, all live plant sales are final once picked up or delivered, except in cases where a plant arrives damaged, unhealthy, or is not the variety you ordered.

Please inspect your plants when you receive them. If you believe there is a problem, contact us within 48 hours of pickup or delivery and include your order number along with a few clear photos.

If we determine there was a quality issue at the time you received your plant, we'll make it right through an appropriate replacement, store credit, or refund.

Order Cancellations

Cancellation terms depend on the type of order:

Rose Cove Grown
Regular orders for plants grown on our farm may be canceled for a full refund when the request is received at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery date.

Locally Grown Favorites
These plants are sourced from trusted local growers specifically to help fulfill your order. Because we may begin coordinating or purchasing these plants shortly after an order is placed, cancellations are subject to a 25% restocking fee. The remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method.

Preorders, Special Orders & Custom Sourcing
Because these plants are ordered, reserved, grown, or sourced specifically based on your commitment to purchase, preorders, special orders, custom-grown items, custom sourcing, and bulk orders may not be canceled and are non-refundable.

Non-Plant Merchandise

Unused, unopened, non-perishable merchandise may be returned within 14 days of purchase with proof of purchase unless marked Final Sale.

Opened fertilizers, soil amendments, treatments, customized products, clearance merchandise, gift cards, and other products that cannot reasonably be resold are final sale.

Our Promise

We can't promise that every plant will live forever—if we figure out how to do that, we'll certainly update this policy.

What we can promise is that we'll provide healthy plants, honest guidance, and a genuine effort to help you succeed.

If something doesn't seem right, reach out. We're gardeners too, and we'd much rather help troubleshoot a struggling plant than see you lose one.
